Emily Forth founded Century Associates in 2023, bringing together experience gained across both specialist Daylight, Sunlight and Rights of Light consultancy and the wider development industry. Since entering the profession in 2012, she has advised developers, investors, property owners and adjoining owners on a broad range of development and neighbouring rights matters.
Alongside her consultancy experience, Emily spent several years working in-house for a major London developer, gaining first-hand experience of the development process from acquisition and feasibility through to planning, delivery and project completion. This experience provides a valuable commercial perspective, enabling her to balance technical considerations with the practical realities of development.
Emily is particularly experienced in Rights of Light strategy, neighbour negotiations and development risk management, helping clients identify constraints, optimise opportunities and implement commercially effective solutions. As Founder and Director of Century Associates, she leads the strategic direction of the business whilst remaining directly involved in client projects from inception through to delivery.
As of January 2026, Emily has served on the Governing Council of RICS, representing the Land and Natural Resources seat. As the highest governance body of RICS, Governing Council is responsible for setting the institution's global strategy, ensuring it fulfils its Royal Charter obligations, and providing strategic oversight of professional entry requirements and standards.
